Cistern Conversion

← Back to the Portfolio

This was a conversion of a historic cistern into a swimming pool.  The concrete lid was removed, the interior was formed and poured with reinforced concrete, and the rear wall was constructed to the maximum 6’ height allowed by the City.  The waterfall feature consisted of three simple copper pipe water spouts.  The new extra wide decorative concrete cap was designed to serve as a ledge for sitting or lying next to the pool.
